Anti Glare Backglass plastic sheet, to replace the glass in front of the translite.
This is a must have for every pinball machine, it reduces the glare of background light sources significantly and therefore also reduces the reflection of the backbox on your playfield glass.
Your Translite will look better than before and you can play your game with much less reflection on your playfield!
And it also saves your translite from fading!
The sheet has a slightly matted anti-glare surface on one side, which diffuses reflections from the environment (windows or lamps for example).
Extremely weather-resistant and highly transparent extruded sheet material made from acrylic (polymethylmethacrylate, PMMA).
• Maximum UV protection,
• Complete transparency and true color rendition,
• Low weight,
• Increased break resistance.
• provides maximum light transmission in the visible wavelength of 380-780 nm.
Aggressive UV radiation (from sunlight or halogen light) is the main cause of color fading or aging and embrittlement of all kinds of materials.
This plexi sheet offers UV protection of at least 99.7 % (at a sheet thickness of 3 mm).
It therefore offers major benefits for glazing UV-sensitive artworks and objets d‘art as compared with conventional picture glazing (UV protection < 40 %).
The light transmission is 92 %. Moreover, it has no inherent color (such as a greenish, yellowish or greyish tinge), unlike other glazing products. That ensures absolutely true color rendition of the art objects behind the glazing.
Lightweight, high-performance plastic.
At the same thickness, it weighs only half as much as conventional picture glass.
Increased Break Resistance
It can be considered as safety glass. Its break resistance is up to eleven times higher than that of conventional picture glass. That prevents artworks from being damaged by broken glass.
This backglass will fit the standard Data East games.
Dimensions: 22-1/2" x 26" x 1/8 (571,5mm x 660,4mm x 3mm)
