Homepin Taiwan is pleased to announce that, after quite a long development time, we are finally able to release our new, advanced DMD driver board that replaces WMS A-14039.
Our new board offers some features that are not available on an original board as well as a much better layout of the hi-voltage regulator section of the board.
Due to the actual digital processing section of the board now being incorporated into just a few chips, we have been able to space the hi-voltage section out over a greater area of the board.
This has allowed us to use higher rated components for this section as well as adding vent holes in the board to promote far greater air flow around the components that get hot in this section.
Some fantastic new features, not seen on almost all other replacement boards, is the brightness adjustment along with the addition of a new connector for 5V & 12V so that an LED or Colour DMD can easily be connected without the need to tap into the machines wiring harness.
Some newer LED displays are far too bright for some people so we have included this unique new feature.
Most will be familiar with the original of this board and how badly it burns up.
We believe this will not happen because of the steps we have taken with the design of this new board.

Note that this board works equally well with original glass DMDs and all LED DMDs**.
**We have tested this new board with various brands of aftermarket LED DMD’s and it has performed as expected on all tested. There may be some we have not tested that it won’t work correctly on – if you find this please advise us the brand and type immediately.
